Missing Middle School

Today I woke up not having to go to middle school. My brother and I were at my aunts' resort because she was in town from California. They surprised us by bringing their baby son to visit us. We spent most of the day at the pool. We ordered pizza and smoothies and ate by the poolside. After that we took family pictures. Everyone said that my new cousin Jafta looked like he could be my own brother. Then we came to my grandmas house and had a family reunion. All my aunts were there. Jafta is my first cousin on this side of the family. He is adopted and his skin color looks just like mine (so of course he's very cute). My skin color is light brown (tan) because my dad is African American and my mom is white. My new cousin Jafta is African-American. He is seven months old and still growing. He is almost crawling and he has curly hair. Tomorrow it's back to school for me.
